Follow these steps to add a new email address or change an existing one for your new hosting service. Remember to change yourdomain.xyz to whatever your website domain name is.
In this example, we are going to setup an email account in Outlook 2003 for a person named Your Name. His email address is you@yourdomain.xyz. His company's website address is www.yourdomain.xyz. When you setup your account, use your information for your website instead of what you see here.
1. Open Outlook Express and click on the "Tools" menu as shown below:

3. Type in your name as you would like it to appear on your emails. Then click next.:

4. Select "I already have an email address I'd like to use." then type in your email address (all lower case) then click next:
OE_Email_Address.gif
5. For "My incoming mail server is a _________ server." Select POP3. Click on next. If you select IMAP, all your email will be stored on the server. You will need to keep an eye on your mailbox size because once it reaches it's quota, you will no longer be able to receive email. Support requests for these types of issues are placed at the bottom of the list so it will not be resolved immediately unless you delete old email yourself.
For both the Incoming (POP3) and Outgoing (SMTP) server, enter mail.yourdomain.xyz. Of course, replace yourdomain.xyz with whatever your website domain name is.

6. For the Account Name, enter your full email address including the @yourdomain.xyz. Enter your password and check the box to Remember your password if you don't want to be asked for your password each time you open Outlook Express. Do not check "Log on using Secure Password Authentication." Then click next. You're not finished yet.

7. You should now be back at the Internet Accounts window with the "Mail" tab selected. If you're not, click on Tools then Accounts then select the Mail tab. Double click on the account you just created (should be mail.yourdomain.xyz).

8. Select the "Servers" tab and check the last box labeled "My server requires authentication" only. Don't change anything else. Click on ok. Your email account is now set up.
